Lincoln Elementary is a large, traditional elementary school serving students from Transitional Kindergarten through fifth grade. Located in the heart of central Long Beach, our school is proud to be Long Beach's first graded school, originally established in 1897 as Alamitos Avenue Grammar School. Our campus is conveniently located within walking distance of the Fire Department, MacArthur Park, and the Mark Twain Library.

Our rich history is matched by our commitment to academic excellence. Lincoln Elementary has been recognized as one of the Top Schools in Los Angeles County for both mathematics and reading for two consecutive years. These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our exceptional teachers, staff, students, and families who work together to ensure every child succeeds.
